1 Well, the main idea I try to put up here is to expose new ebuilds as much as
2 possible by pushing ALL submissions to the portage tree for people who want
3 to see what's up on the table, while maintaining only the stable core access
4 for people who only need thoroughly tested stuff.
5 If something can be easily setup to simplify ebuild submission process this
6 is fine and in fact does not change much the idea. bugs.gentoo.org is pretty
7 simple IMHO, and majority of users are developers, while as far as I can tell
8 linux newcomers are not uncommon to gentoo either.
9 Please see my new post for clarification. In short I feel that it is
10 necessary to introduce multiple ebuild-state levels to better represent the
11 "real-world life of a package", which will also help end-users to follow the
12 stock and contribute to what he feels necessary even just voting for package
13 he wants to see.
