1 I don't think qpkg or emerge search have this functionality yet.
2 However you can always do:
3 find /usr/portage -mtime 24 -iname "*.ebuild"
4 after you do emerge rsync
5 to see what ebuilds were modified (or added) in the last 24 hours :).
