If you're not using revision bumps, the user isn't notified to recompile |

anyway. I'm not sure if you are or aren't though, as I couldn't follow that |

Bug 52206 (http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=52206) has a better method |

than both of the above. This adds a ~* possibility to package.keywords that |

will match any arch or ~arch keyword in an ebuild and is included in |

portage-2.0.51. Of course, this will only work if an ebuild has a arch or |

~arch keyword but every ebuild should. |
