6 It doesn't make any sense. If the original poster uses custom-patched
7 kernels, surely he can create his custom-patches against vanilla-sources?

9 It seems to me that dummy-sources would be duplicating emerge -i
10 functionality if no true sources are to be installed, and would be
11 duplicating vanilla-sources if untouched sources are to be installed.
