Fixed it finally! |

I had to recompile the kernel setting jiffies=100 |

instead of 1000. And also I had to disable the system |
| 5 |
sleep timer in the BIOS. Never had an issue with this |

when I was running mdk so I didn't think that apm had |
| 7 |
anything to do with it. Tested it out after and |
| 8 |
confirmed my findings though. |
