Oh, dear. Um, it might well be possible. It is true that glibc builds |

against an installed set of linux headers (that's why we have a |
14 |
linux-headers package in Portage), so if you have a spare partition |

available you might want to try bootstrapping again in a chroot on that |
16 |
partition, only edit /etc/make.profile/packages to limit the |
17 |
linux-headers package to be less than 2.4 beforehand. Then try to boot |

into that partition. (You may need to build a 2.2 kernel in the chroot, |

but I'm really not sure.) |
