The systemd developers have made it clear that they are not interested |

in supporting systems that we wish to support. That is why we forked. We |
21 |
intend to keep under a compatible license so that they can cherry-pick |
22 |
patches that they deem to fit their narrow criteria for being |
23 |
appropriate. However, it would be a waste of valuable development time |
24 |
for us to cherry-pick patches for them on the chance that they might |
25 |
decide to consider entertaining the idea of merging them. |
