19 The systemd developers have made it clear that they are not interested
20 in supporting systems that we wish to support. That is why we forked. We
21 intend to keep under a compatible license so that they can cherry-pick
22 patches that they deem to fit their narrow criteria for being
23 appropriate. However, it would be a waste of valuable development time
24 for us to cherry-pick patches for them on the chance that they might
25 decide to consider entertaining the idea of merging them.
