I think we should offer to host blogs for two reasons: |

1) It will get more developers involved who otherwise would not |

2) It will keep developers more on-topic than a personal blog they may |

have or start |

Normally I wouldn't care as much about #2, but in the last couple of |

weeks reading technical blogs has become a real drag during the |

U.S. election season. |
