9 Yes, I sent the message before getting/reading the replys. Though more along
10 the lines of how BASH works right now, I would suggest an environment
11 variable controlling this. eg, RUN_DIRECTORIES=yes/on/enabled/1 (not the best
12 var name, but you get the idea)
13 Then, if someone actually wanted to, they could export it to make it affect
14 scripts or just leave it unexported to only affect the current shell.
