8 christ, i must be tired. for some reason i equated stage 1 with the minimal
9 install cd. it's been too long since i did an install. sorry.

21 it's obvious that a lot of people (including me) are confused about exactly what
22 the deal is here. this is why things need to be made clear before the fact, not
23 after they happen, and need to be discussed with both devs and users to make
24 sure everyone's on the same page, instead of spending all day violently
25 misunderstanding each other.
