Is there any reason why many packages are using RESTRICT="nomirror"? |

This prevents one from using not just official gentoo mirrors but localy |

ones also, which turns out to be a very bad thing if one has no leased |

line or very limited bandwith. |

There are quite a few packages are affected (in total 518 ebuilds in 227 |

different categories), which might be a overlooked "feature" when moving |

them from bugzilla to CVS in some cases. There might be |

licence-restrictions also... |

Any way to force the use of a (local) mirror in such cases? |
