BTW, I'm pretty sure that the reason -2 doesn't work anymore is that Linux |

now uses *32* bit (rather than 16 bit) UIDs and GIDs. -2 would be interpreted |

as 2^32-2 rather than 2^16-2; at least this is my semi-educated guess. |
