13 The mis-design is that for some reason the default_src_install (and
14 therefore the default EAPI4+ DOCS= handler) is being triggered
15 regardless of whether multilib_src_install, or
16 multilib_src_install_all are being overridden/customized. Possibly
17 this is true for an override of src_install() too (or at least, the
18 src_install that would still call the appropriate phase funcs from
19 multilib-minimal), but I don't think I checked that so this would need
20 to be confirmed.

22 Probably what needs to be done is that the original
23 default_src_install behaviour only occurs in
24 multilib_src_install_all() and also only occurs when that phase func
25 is not re-defined in an ebuild. But this is just a guess.
