Are you using Loop-AES? I have been using cryptoapi with 2.4, but I have not
tried it with 2.6 yet.

For background, my setup is an encrypted root with an initrd system
loosely based on the loop-aes initrd, but with the addition of busybox
and my own 'rootsetup' script (which loads the USB drivers and such).
