I installed from the iso in a way similiar to 1.2. I used bootx to boot |

into the LiveCD and then extracted a stage 1 tarball from a handy hfs |

partition, chrooted in, and preceeded to bootstrap etc............ |

I saw your earlier post and I couldn't remember what I pointed bootx at |

on the gentoo cd. If I remember right it was several folders deep. I |

the CD. It would be more helpful in diagnosing the problem if you could |

tell us more about your kernel panic. IIRC, it seemed pretty straight |
