Devs, |
16 |
I very much like this idea - I think that a LiveCD release for each |
17 |
cycle is a bit too ambitious, especially with regard to how many bugs |
18 |
they field. The only thing that we would have to negotiate is the |
19 |
universal CD which contains distfiles and stages for a networkless |
20 |
installation. We could discuss through that at a later date though |
21 |
(2005.x integration if we decide upon it). |

Would this solution work better for everyone than the current one? Kurt, |
24 |
would this work from your perspective infra wise? We could align new |
25 |
Gentoo-wide features (GPG signing) with bi or tri annual LiveCD |
26 |
releases. Hopefully this is a step in a direction that leads towards |
27 |
some compromise. |

Also, I would like to apologize if at times I seemed close minded or |
30 |
impatient during this thread. Kurt, I surely did not mean to start any |
31 |
type of flame war - I do feel strongly about my opinions, but am open |
32 |
for compromise, so please don't take any of this as a personal attack. I |
33 |
blame it all on this cold from hell that I have ;) |
