For those of you that do not know, my personal spec files are available |
2 |
on toucan at /home/wolf31o2/stuff/livecd and should cover everything you |
3 |
will need. They also make good references for any problems you guys |
4 |
might be having with your pre-release building. |
5 |
|
6 |
Some things we *really* want to see on all releases that are capable: |
7 |
|
8 |
If you use "normal" keymaps like x86 does, make sure to add |
9 |
livecd/bootargs: dokeymap to your livecd-stage2 spec files. |
10 |
|
11 |
There should be *NO* livecd/overlay: on your minimal CD, as we aren't |
12 |
putting docs on them. Your universal CD should have the normal |
13 |
directories on it. Please be sure to rename your handbook-$arch to just |
14 |
handbook before rolling your final ISO. Everybody should check their |
15 |
docs, but you knew this. Remember to check your networkless installs, |
16 |
too. |
17 |
|
18 |
Everybody that has support for it, should have "--evms2 --lvm2 --dmraid" |
19 |
on all of their kernels that support it, preferably globally. None of |
20 |
these volume managers start automatically, so a user must use "do*" on |
21 |
them to get them to start. |
22 |
|
23 |
There is a new README.txt that is being put on the CD. I plan on |
24 |
rolling at least one more catalyst point release, so if you have |
25 |
something that you want added/removed from this README.txt, please let |
26 |
me know so we can get it changed. I am looking for this file to be |
27 |
mostly generic, but I would also like to list things for all of our |
28 |
architectures. |
29 |
|
30 |
That is all for now... =] |
