| I have an internal mirror for rsync and distfiles. Now my users tell me |
6 |
| that we can setup a build server and install the precompiled binaries |
7 |
| off of that. From what they were talking about, it sounded like a |
8 |
| mirror, but serving compiled packages. Is anyone doing this? I can't |
9 |
| find information on this, but that's probably because I don't really |
10 |
| even know what to look for. Is there a document on this somewhere? |

We're doing this for a couple of hundred machines and have documented it |
14 |
at http://www.scms.waikato.ac.nz/~baz. Theres a bunch of scripts there |
15 |
too that make managing a binary repository easier (doing it by hand is a |
16 |
pain, particularly once you get lots of packages). |
