Just emerged tomcat-5 and ran the init.d tomcat start |

script. |

I had some error with log4j, so I added a |

configuration for that. |

When I start the script now, the script never returns |

(last line printed is 'Using JAVA_HOME: |

/opt/blackdown-jdk-1.4.2-02'), and it creates a lot of |

socket connections that are in TIME_WAIT, and which |

disappear shortly after I kill the start script. |

I tried using strace to see what the problem was, but |

it doesn't report any error. |

I don't know exactly where to start debugging this |
| 19 |
problem, and I'd appreciate any suggestion. |
