11 That's not entirely true. Take SuSE for instance. Using SRPMs and
12 setting your preferred compiler and linker flags, You can pretty much do
13 the same as in Gentoo, the difference being that Gentoo makes it a lot
14 easier :) since it - as opposed to the majority of Linux dists - is a
15 true source code distribution. (Phew! That was a long sentence).
