You did use the windowmaker ebuild from portage right? I know gdm, |

which I use, lists session managment options like Fluxbox and KDE based |

on the presence of startup scripts in some folder somewhere |

in /etc/X11. The ebuild should put them there, but I'm not sure, |

especially for kdm, what that entails or whether it'll actually be done |

in your case. You might be able to set up a custom script in |

~/.xession to start up windowmaker, if you can figure out how to do so |

from the command line, and then select the "custom" option if the |

windowmaker ebuild doesn't support adding itself to the kdm menu. |
