44 It's a poor design. It's also unmaintained currently.

46 But I don't want to debate consolekit, it's OT for this thread. It runs
47 on my machines currently because ebuilds pulled it in. It seems to do
48 what it should, so for the moment I'm happy to leave it in place. But I
49 don't regard it as a good design, it's one of those things I list in the
50 risk register in my head and keep an eye on as I consider it brittle.

53 you feel it's a lousy analogy then so be it, but I'd rather not detract
54 from the topic of the thread, which is systemd.
