12 Upgrade from what to what? You definitely should do an emerge -e world
13 if you switched from 3.4 to 4.1 as they are not fully compatible and
14 there have been problems reported if not doing so. And I've heard
15 reports of amule segfaulting after a switch to gcc 4.1 without
16 rebuilding world and the problem going away after the rebuild...
