Hi again,

Little update. I tried every version of ntp in the tree including one
released in the past few days that was supposed to have some more bug
fixes. No joy. Same thing in the log file and ntp.drift. It just
would not adjust the clock like it should and did on my old rig.

I unmerged ntp and emerged openntpd. Does this look normal?

I assume it will eventually sync up. It hasn't been running very long
so I'll give it a while. It does appear to me that it is working
better. I still would like to know why ntp failed me all of a sudden.

Thanks.
