8 OK, so you don't need to worry about write wear, but I still don't see
9 why you need real-time mirroring. A script to sync the drive before
10 unmounting would give you an accurate mirror. A cron script to check if
11 the drive is mounted and sync it every hour would cut down on the amount
12 of data to sync when unmounting.
