OK, so you don't need to worry about write wear, but I still don't see |

why you need real-time mirroring. A script to sync the drive before |

unmounting would give you an accurate mirror. A cron script to check if |

the drive is mounted and sync it every hour would cut down on the amount |

of data to sync when unmounting. |
