14 It's best to install the full KDE 4 desktop to avoid any such headaches
15 and other misbehavior. You should be able to select KDE3 or KDE4 at the
16 KDM login screen. You should not be able to fully configure KDE 4 from
17 within KDE 3 and vice versa.

19 Switching fully to KDE 4 is pretty much the only sane solution; using
20 KDE 3 apps from within KDE 4 is going to be better than the opposite,
21 simply because the KDE 3 apps you need ought to be much fewer compared
22 to KDE 4 apps.

24 If you find that KDE 4 doesn't really suit you, it might be best to
25 switch to another desktop environment. :P
