Hi Tom, |
27 |
Thanks. Good call about how to look at it. Wrong technology. It |
28 |
seems that Firefox thinks it's supposed to run a Crossover plugin for |
29 |
Quicktime stuff. I also have mplayerplug-in installed and Firefox sees |
30 |
it, but it's also running one or more of the many Quicktime plugins |
31 |
when Firefox is open. |
32 |
|
33 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin.dll) |
34 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin2.dll) |
35 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin3.dll) |
36 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin4.dll) |
37 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin5.dll) |
38 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin6.dll) |
39 |
QuickTime Plug-in 6.5.1 (CrossOver - npqtplugin7.dll) |
40 |
|
41 |
It seems each of these handles many file types. |
42 |
|
43 |
I know nothing about how Firefox uses plugins. Where are they |
44 |
stored? How do you configure Firefox to use the right plugin if two or |
45 |
more say they can handle the same data type? |
46 |
|
47 |
It seems I have lots of copies of the first one hanging around: |
