7 AFAIK you're not forced to accept the hostname DHCP pushes. For each
8 DHCP datum you can override it with a local setting. How this is done
9 depends on the particular dhcp client package - for the most common ISC
10 DHCP it is in /etc/dhcp/dhclient.conf
