| 9 | Sounds like we need more info. Maybe post the output of emerge and add |
| 10 | in the -t option. |

| 12 | Generally a -C will remove the package and not install it again unless |
| 13 | asked. You may have to manually remove the dependencies that got pulled |
| 14 | in tho. You could use --depclean to help with that. While --depclean |
| 15 | is better, use the -p option first just to make sure. |
