That is true. I did have that modem lock up once in the several years I |

used it. It was a lot better to just turn off the modem and then turn |

it back on, especially since I had several months of uptime. |

Also keep in mind, you have to completely turn off the system too. If |

in windoze, start, turn off puter, select turn off not reboot, then let |

the computer completely power off. Basically, you have to turn off the |

power to the card. Sometimes it may reset with power applied but since |

you're already rebooting, why waste more time trying it. |
