7 Why? RAID support is as simple as selecting a couple of options in
8 menuconfig. Or were you thinking of LVM? That needs an initr* to use it

11 Dropping genkernel is almost always a good thing. If you roll your own
12 kernel, you will have a better understanding of what's going on and what
13 you need.
