I have just installed gentoo 2007.0 and for most parts of it, I am very |

happy. There is 1 issue that I need help with. |

1. Automounting of CD's and DVD's |

|
| 9 |
Hald and dbus are set to default run levels. |
| 10 |
gnome-mount is installed |
| 11 |
I am part of the plugdev and cdrom groups |
| 12 |
And I have pmount also installed. |
| 13 |

| 14 |
When I insert a disk, I get the error " Cannot mount Volume" |

Here are my software versions |

Any ideas or advise on how to solve this would be sincerely appreciated. |
