9 Yes, as a default when no other editor is specified. That means no
10 $EDITOR variable visible to visudo and no default specified
11 in /etc/sudoers. It does NOT mean that visudo is hard coded to use nano,
12 merely that the Gentoo devs have set the fallback to something they
13 know will be on a default Gentoo install. That seems a sensible decision
14 to me.
