14 Thank you John. During the course my various arguments with ~/.bashrc
15 today (after reading this), I also happened across a note in man
16 tsportageview (don't ask, whole 'nother story) which said:

19 Filter the output through "less -Rh0" (good colour support)

21 So it seems pretty clear that the -R switch is essential for color
22 support. I adjusted my pager command to include it and think that it's
23 likely to work properly now.

25 But of course I never would have noticed that the switch in man
26 tsportageview confirmed that -R is really needed for color support in
27 less (despite having skimmed man less), if you hadn't said so first.
