I'm working on an install of Xen 3.0 (manual install, not from Portage) |

and trying to locate its listed prerequisites. I'm having trouble |

locating two of them: |

"zlib-dev" |

"python-dev" |
| 7 |
|
| 8 |
(This is what the Xen docs refers to them as.) |

I don't see anything in Portage that resembles these names, nor do I see |

"dev" packages at all for zlib or python. Both zlib and python are, of |
| 12 |
course, already installed. |
| 13 |
|
| 14 |
Are these packages something that I really need to install or are they |
| 15 |
included with the Gentoo base install? |
