19 I am just jumping in in the middle here, so I don't know whether this
20 is relevant or not. Do you have a /dev/sdb1 ? Have you tried mounting
21 that instead of /dev/sdb? I've heard of some thumbdrives not doing
22 partitions, but all the ones I own needs to be mounted via
23 /dev/sd?[0-9]
