try ttcut it is not in portage, but it is in the gentoo sunrise |

overlay, i use it for cutting mpeg files from dvb-recordings. the only |

thing you have to do before cutting is to demux it to video and audio. |

you can use projectx (which isc available wich portage) for this job |
