The configuration for kernel 5.6.3. (vanilla) works fine.for me. |

Then I changed to kernel 5.6.4 using the same configuration. |

Suddenlu the fan at the back of my PC case never stops from |

rotating at its highest speed. |

Changing back to kernel 5.6.3. and the problem is gone. |

On the internet I found one report of a fan problem after |

an upgrade of Ubuntu...but that was 5 years ago... |

I compared the entries in /sys/devices/platform/nct6775.2592/hwmon/hwmon1/* |

between the two kernels but found nothing obvious. |

The CPU temperature was around 45° C in both cases. |
