10 btw, your manually maintained log is entirely redundant if you emerge
11 genlop, and by telling portage to log to disk there is no real need to
12 sit glued to the screen watching console output anymore. Just scan
13 $LOGDIR/elog/* afterwards to get one file for each package that issued
14 warnings and info messages.
