Subject: [gentoo-user] Seamonkey/Firefox not closing processes

Howdy,

I noticed something over the past week or so that is a bit odd. I
started using multiple sessions for Seamonkey and Firefox. I moderate a
website and use Firefox for it but I am generally just plain old me. I
use a separate session when I need to moderate something. I also
started using Seamonkey in a similar way. I have one session for my
regular stuff and a separate session for watching videos and such.
Helps me to keep bookmarks separate too. This has worked great until a
week or so ago.

I notice that now if I close a Firefox session or even close both
sessions, Firefox is still running as a process. If I try to open it
again, I get the warning that the session is already running, even tho I
closed it and it is gone. I get the same thing from both Seamonkey and
Firefox. I don't recall any upgrade that started this, although it
could be one that did it. I also don't know what is actually supposed
to kill those processes. I use KDE4 of course and here is a list of
other info below. I can confirm they are running with ps aux | grep
<seamonkey or firefox> so it is detecting it correctly.

Is this a bug or some setting I missed somewhere? If a bug, whose
package should I file it against?

Also, when I close one and restart, I have to kill the process that is
still running. Is there anyway to tell what process goes with which
session?

Thanks much.
