9 The cdb shouldn't have anything to do with rsync; rsync is just copying
10 the /usr/portage tree, it doesn't interrogate the cdb store.

12 That's why after fetching emerge rebuilds the meta data, because that info is
13 not rsync'd (or if it is, it isn't trusted by the local emerge so it rebuilds
14 the meta data anyway).
