Hello list,

I have a small script /etc/portage/repo.postsync.d/q-reinit which is causing
emerge --sync to complain. I don't know where it's come from, but its date
stamp is 15 September.

This is the script:

#!/bin/sh
repository_name=$1
repository_path=$3
if [ -n "${repository_name}" ]; then
        q ${PORTAGE_QUIET:+-q} --reinitialize="${repository_path}"
fi
:

It causes this error:

# /usr/bin/emerge --sync
>>> Syncing repository 'gentoo' into '/var/cache/repos/portage'...
/usr/bin/git fetch origin Already up to date. === Sync completed for gentoo q: unrecognized option '--reinitialize=/var/cache/repos/portage' usage: q <applet> <args> : invoke a portage utility applet [...] Can anyone shed some light on this? -- Regards, Peter.
