18 I did that, and got rid of a large number of packages I don't need.

20 A word of advice though, if I may, to anyone else who tries slimming plasma
21 down: you do need kdedesktop, not just kdeworkspace. When I tried just the
22 former of those two, I got an "all shell packages missing" error (or something
23 like that) at plasma startup via sddm, together with a black screen. Windows
24 opened and closed all right, but the system clearly wasn't happy.
