8 so much in add-on packages, as before, but are getting into the main
9 kernel tree. I think the development federation enabled by git is
10 starting to effect this more. For example, my VFD display driver that
11 used to come from lirc is now in the kernel source tree. Many lm_sensors
12 drivers are now in the kernel tree, Even VMware guest drivers are now
13 in the kernel tree. So the potential for clashes is minimizing.
