Yes, there is one DISTDIR for everything, that just happens to be located |

inside the man portage tree by default (whether that makes sense is a |

topic for another flame war). It makes sense when you think about it, you |

add an ebuild that builds a package sightly differently (maybe patching |

an upstream bug) but that doesn't mean you want to download the sources |

again. |
