One thing I have noticed in its output is where it lists "installed |

packages with a version not in the database (or masked)", this is often |

(in my case) due to slotted packages where portage has only kept the |

'highest numbered' slot updated. Is there any magic incantation to emerge |

which would make it keep all installed slots updated? |
