6 Yes - whether or not your mobile plan comes with a data package is
7 another story. In Canada, at least, 'tethering' ones phone via USB is
8 very, very expensive.

10 Most providers also differentiate whether or not the data is being
11 requested via mobile web browser, through a proxy for email, or via
12 gprs, etc, as is the case when tethering.

14 Before you commit to a data plan, make sure that you determine whether
15 or not 'tethering' is included in that data plan - it likely is not
16 and you will be encounter a ginormous bill at the end of the month if
17 you're not safe.
