6 Yes. This one is pulled from a dri trunk kernel module snapshot (mid Dec) and
7 has some radeon specific patches in it afaik (thanks to daenzer from debian).

19 this should give you immensly better performance, and it's as stable or better
20 than anything I've previously used on my radeon setup. I get around 1250 fps
21 cleanly with glxgears, running a radeon 7500 + apple 17" DFP.

23 FWIW it hasnt crashed or choked on me once with some serious pounding, 3d
24 games, etc.

26 The xfree-4.2.99.4 ebuild and this xfree-drm seem to work the best together,
27 YMMV with an xfree + dri-trunk cvs, but I don't forsee any issues either. I
28 highly reccomend (in fact I think for radeon it requires) a fairly recent
29 kernel, I'm running ppc-sources-benh-r5 right now. My harrdware needs a
30 damsound patch to run, but this patch should also be coming in next
31 ppc-sources due any day if your machine has issues with audio and damsound.
