Yes. This one is pulled from a dri trunk kernel module snapshot (mid Dec) and |

has some radeon specific patches in it afaik (thanks to daenzer from debian). |

this should give you immensly better performance, and it's as stable or better |

than anything I've previously used on my radeon setup. I get around 1250 fps |

cleanly with glxgears, running a radeon 7500 + apple 17" DFP. |

The xfree-4.2.99.4 ebuild and this xfree-drm seem to work the best together, |

YMMV with an xfree + dri-trunk cvs, but I don't forsee any issues either. I |

highly reccomend (in fact I think for radeon it requires) a fairly recent |

kernel, I'm running ppc-sources-benh-r5 right now. My harrdware needs a |

damsound patch to run, but this patch should also be coming in next |
| 31 |
ppc-sources due any day if your machine has issues with audio and damsound. |
