6 If this is the case, perhaps a comment should be added to the documentation. I believe it is clearly stated in the installation docs that all bugs should be submitted to Gentoo, and that Gentoo devs will then decide which tofix themselves and which to pass upstream.

8 Now, I see the logic in not having Gentoo devs debugging the vanilla kernel, but the documentation should then be updated to reflect this.
