Hi,

I though the idea of glep 5 was to put in one place the stuff that
doesn't change.. To simplify, not make it more complicated... with
things for versions and flags and I dont know what, it becomes more
complicated.. That said, I agree that this problem could not have been
forseen when glep 5 was written, but the current content of both gleps
are currently incompatible.

Would it be possible to give more details? Are you saying that this is
not a problem since the ebuild could always override the metadata.xml ?
Then we are just duplicating information.. even worst... Or are you
proposing something else?
